just what I\u2019m after.<\/p>\n<p>Version three (the bottom fingerboard) shows a clever design where the markers travel up the thumb-side of the neck, but then \u201cchange lanes\u201d at the 12th fret, continuing up to the nameplate on the finger-side.\u00a0 At first, I wasn\u2019t crazy about this design, but the more I look at it, the more I am warming up to this layout.<\/p>\n<p>I do have at least one more idea for the shape of the wedge, and I will probably have another fingerboard layout with that design in a few days.\u00a0 After that, I\u2019ll probably sit on the fingerboard ideas for a bit, to make sure I\u2019m at peace with my final decision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A day later, and I\u2019ve got two variations on the original design.\u00a0 I asked Mica to give the wedges a little more character for this round.\u00a0 The results are shown above, including a fret marker detail.\u00a0 It\u2019s amazing what a &hellip;
