but the main focal point is what\u2019s shown here.\u00a0 Let\u2019s call him \u201cJack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It may look odd right now, but over the next few weeks, you will be introduced to other elements of the inlay that will complete the story.\u00a0 This is the beginning of the final creative chapter of the build.\u00a0 It started with me painting a very descriptive mental picture for Susan, clearly detailing my intent.\u00a0 Through countless phone conversations, I\u2019d regale her with stories and memories &#8211; an attempt to introduce her to someone she\u2019d never meet.\u00a0 Now that she is sufficiently familiar with the subject matter, she\u2019s begun sketching out my vision.\u00a0 Along the way, there will, no doubt, be modifications and changes, but I feel content knowing that I\u2019m in such talented, thoughtful hands.<\/p>\n<p>From the start, it was essential that my build record include pictures of not just the instrument itself, but also of the skilled people whose hands are its physical creators.\u00a0 Pictured here is Susan, Alembic\u2019s matriarch and artistic visionary.\u00a0 Her fully articulating (and anatomically accurate!) skeleton is helping her ossify my inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>Please stay tuned and watch this vision unfold.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Late last night, East Coast inspiration met West Coast artistry on a brightly lit drafting table in Santa Rosa, CA.\u00a0 Then and there, lead finally hit paper for what will be this guitar\u2019s visual centerpiece.\u00a0 In the end, there will &hellip;
